Ode to a Canadian guitar and it’s God. Martin Tielli, lead guitarist for The Rheostatics has long been heralded as a legend of the AXE. This print pays tribute to him, and a guitar which has become one of his trademarks.

from Wikipedia: Martin’s other famous guitar is his Ibanez double neck 6/12 string electric guitar, which he painted himself with a “never quite presented idea” for the new Canadian flag designed by A.Y. Jackson.^[1] This design is often mistaken for one originally championed by Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson to be the Canadian flag (nicknamed “the Pearson Pennant”).
